Meet Our Pastor...
Jonathan Kirby We are so blessed and excited that God has led us to serve at Rock Springs. We can’t wait to get to know everyone better! We are both from Cumming Georgia and grew up at Pine Crest Baptist Church, where we belong. I was saved at the age of 9 and Erin at the age of 12. I told my call to preach at the age of 17. Erin and I started dating in our early twenties and were married on October 1, 2011. We have two children. Our daughter, Aniston Ruth Kirby, born on December 12, 2018 in Arizona; we brought her home to Georgia in January of 2019, and her adoption was finalized 5 months later. She is the answer to many prayers! Our son, Wade Charles Kirby, born April 24, 2021, and is our miracle baby that decided that 33wks was long enough to wait and made a surprise entrance into this world. We currently live in Dawson County. I work at Automation Direct in Cumming, GA as a product photographer, and Erin is a middle school teacher in Forsyth County. We were blessed to pastor North Canton Baptist Church prior to being called to Rock Springs. Romans 15:13 says "May the God of hope fill you will all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Please know that we are here to help and serve this wonderful church and community in any capacity we can! |
